Dr. Gonzales completed her psychology residency at the University
of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX where she specialized in health
psychology. She completed a 4 year fellowship at UTMB in chronic pain and
rehabilitation outcomes.
She is the founder and director of Health Psychology Services with offices in
South Shore Harbour (League City) and Sugar Land, TX.
Her company has Life Coaching, Pain Management, Neuropsychology and Consulting
divisions as well a general psychology division.
She is a published author of several peer –reviewed journals articles and a
book chapter on disability. She was a weekly guest on a nationally syndicated
radio show “The Stephen Marks Show” and is a frequent speaker at national
conferences. She conducts seminars on the Power Belief System™ and consults
with businesses and individuals on how to incorporate these systems. Her latest
book is titled: Your Power Belief System™ Change Your Life One Belief At a
Time.
Dr. Gonzales is a Diplomate in Pain Management from the American Academy of
Pain Management and is Recognized by the National Register of Health Service
Providers in Psychology. She is a former Adjunct Professor at UTMB and guest
lecturer at UH-CL.
Dr. Gonzales is unique in that before completing her Ph.D. in psychology, she
worked in the field of computer science for General Electric, Lockheed
Engineering Services Company, Space Industries Inc (self-employed contractor),
SAIC and American Airlines for a total of 17 years.
